YOUR shoot is designed to be a collaborative effort between the both of us. During your consultation we will review styles and preferences and curate a tone and vibe that will carry throughout the shoot through to post.
Intent
Neither of us will walk into a shoot feeling confused or winging it. We will have a shoot plan, moodboard, and adjust accordingly alongside weather, crowds, etc.
FUN
This is the most important to me. Bring speakers, friends, family, and make it an experience for you! You only take pics for this once, make it fun!

My standard turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks. Because I balance photography with my full-time job, timelines can vary a bit depending on the time of year, location (larger crowds at places like the Quad mean more background retouching!), or travel schedules. I’ll always give you a clear, honest delivery date during our initial consultation so you know exactly when to expect your gallery.
We reschedule! No additional costs or anything. We reschedule.
Not for shoots in Northern Virginia or Washington, D.C.! If the location is more than two hours away, there's a $40 travel/gas fee. However, if I’m doing multiple shoots in that same area over the weekend, I’ll split that fee across everyone's invoice, so feel free to send your friends my way to lower the cost!
Life happens, so I keep things as flexible as possible!
- Rescheduling: You can reschedule your session up to 48 hours before our shoot time without losing your $50 deposit. If you need to reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, I’ll have to retain the initial deposit, but you won't owe anything else!
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel entirely, just let me know at least 7 days prior to our shoot date to receive your deposit back. Cancellations made within 7 days of the shoot will forfeit the deposit.
Absolutely. Standard skin retouching (like temporary blemishes) and background cleanup are included. During our review process, you can let me know if there's anything specific you want tweaked!
I don't deliver raw or unedited files. Unedited photos are only half the finished product, the custom editing and color grading are a huge part of the artistry you’re hiring me for!
I'm not the devil. ABSOLUTELY!
If you're doing a solo shoot but would like to get a couple pics with your dog, boyfriend, mom, family, etc. that's no additional cost. Plus, having a hype-person or your dog around can actually make you feel way more relaxed. For grad shoots, bringing friends for a few group shots or champagne pops is always welcomed.
What is the process?
- Initial Inquiry: Drop me a message through my contact form here (preferred) or send a DM on Instagram to kick things off.
- Consultation & Moodboard: We’ll connect via email, text, phone, or Zoom to chat through your vision, outfit choices, and ideal locations. We’ll also build out a shared moodboard to align on style and inspo!
- Booking & Deposit: If we’re a great fit, I’ll send over a contract and an invoice for a $50 deposit to lock in your date.
- Pre-Shoot Check-In: A few days before the shoot, I’ll reach out to confirm the date, location, weather, and make sure our moodboard and outfit plans haven't changed.
- Shoot Day!: We meet up, hang out, and shoot! Zero awkward energy, just fun and natural photos.
- Sneak Peeks & Final Payment: Shortly after the shoot, I’ll send over 3 to 5 sneak peek photos so you have something to post right away. The remaining balance is due at this time before editing begins.
- The Edit: I’ll work my magic on the full gallery within our agreed-upon contract timeline (usually 2–3 weeks).
- Gallery Delivery & Revisions: You’ll receive your full online gallery! Take a look and let me know if you need any adjustments, whether that’s retouching a minor blemish or tweaking the overall color vibe to match your preference.
